Join us for an overview of The Children's Center Utah's Therapeutic Preschool Program, an intensive, trauma-informed psychosocial rehabilitation program for children ages 2–5 with significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. During this lunch-and-learn, we will highlight the evidence-based and trauma-informed models that guide the program, eligibility criteria, referral process, family involvement, and examples of common treatment goals, including emotion regulation, social skills, positive peer interactions, and school readiness. We will also explore outcome data for the children and families who participate in the Therapeutic Preschool Program. Participants will gain a better understanding of how the program supports young children and their families in building the skills needed for long-term success at home, in school, and in the community.
