Objectives:

-Identify and define social-emotional development. 

-Breakdown what social-emotional development looks like from birth to 12 months.

-Identify social-emotional development from 12 to 24 months.

-Identify social-emotional development from 24 to 36 months. 

-Identify key social-emotional development aspects from 3 to 5 years old.  

 

Abstract:

This presentation is the first installment of Unit 5 from Zero to Three’s Training Curriculum, The Growing Brain. In this presentation, participants will learn about social-emotional development with an emphasis on developmental expectations from birth to 5 years old.  Additionally, participants will understand how to support social-emotional development during this developmental period.  This webinar is primarily didactic style but will require some participation from the audience.
